Level 2 Language Course – Course Goals
By the end of this course, participants will be able to use the language in everyday and routine situations.
Everyday Social Skills
Handle short social exchanges using polite greetings, introductions, and responses to invitations or apologies.
Listening
Understand phrases and expressions related to immediate priorities, such as personal and family information, shopping, local geography, and employment, when spoken clearly and slowly.
Reading
Understand short, simple texts using high-frequency vocabulary, including some international words.
Speaking & Interaction
Communicate in simple, routine tasks that involve direct exchange of information about work, free time, and familiar topics.
Speaking & Presenting
Give simple descriptions or presentations on people, daily routines, likes/dislikes, living conditions, education, or current/previous jobs.
Deliver short, rehearsed presentations on familiar subjects and answer straightforward follow-up questions with some support if needed.
Writing & Interaction
Write short, simple notes or messages related to immediate needs.
