Corporate Language Training: How We Work

1. Setting Goals

Prior to your language training, we carry out an in-depth needs analysis (view the Communication Chart for Business) and discuss your language objectives. We will then assess your level in the four skills (oral, aural, reading and writing skills) if required. This information will help us to design your tailor-made language course and set realistic goals. A language course proposal including the findings of this consultation and our adequate recommendations will be sent to you for approval (this preliminary service is free of charge).

2. Reviewing

During your corporate language training, we provide you with a monthly Lesson Record sheet showing a content summary of each lesson as well as the time, attendance and duration of each lesson. If at any point in time your needs change, we will amend your course content accordingly. 

3. Reporting

When you have completed your language training course, you will receive a Progress Report which will review your achievements. This report will also include recommendations for further language training if required. Your Human Resources Department will also receive a monthly spreadsheet detailing the dates and attendance for each lesson as well as the status of the courses in terms of hours completed.

4. Measuring the results

Our tutors assess their trainees throughout the language training course and monitor their progress by using the Common European Framework level chart (CEFR) endorsed by the Council of Europe (download the CEFR level chart). In order to boost the motivation and progress of each student, we can prepare them for a recognised diploma or certificate for French, Italian, Spanish or German, or for the Cambridge Examinations for English as a Foreign Language. When your trainer thinks that you are ready to sit your examination, we will take care of your enrolment and administration of the procedure.
